A situation may occur to any of us in which it becomes necessary to break a window in a vehicle. Reasons can vary: pulling a person or animal out of a hot car, getting an injured person out of a vehicle during an accident, or other unforeseen accidents. While breaking a windshield may not seem like a difficult task to perform, it can be complicated and dangerous without the right tools. In such situations, it's best to have a glass breaker on hand.

It's worth knowing that car windshields (mainly front and rear) are laminated. This means that quite easily with a glass drift we will cause chipping on them, but breaking them is no longer so easy. For this reason, it is better to choose any of the side windows. If you are outside the car, choose the glass that is farthest from the person or animal inside. In order to successfully break the glass, you should outline the diagonal lines of the windshield in your mind and choose a spot located on either of these lines, preferably near the bottom edge. Then the auto glass striker should be pressed against the selected point. In some situations, the action needs to be repeated several times. Remember to avoid forcibly hitting the glass, as this will cause many shards of glass to fall into the car. If you are inside the vehicle, choose the side window closest to you. Very often in such accidents, every minute counts, so the tempered glass striker that you keep in your car should be in an easily accessible place.

A windshield breaker can take various forms, for example: a telescopic baton, a pen or a tool with a specially designed tip (for example, for Leatherman multitools). In many situations, getting out of your car can save your health and life, so in emergency situations (for example, when you notice a child or animal locked in your car during a hot day) do not hesitate to break the window. In such situations, you are protected by law. Check out the offer of window breakers in the Militaria.pl store
