XRG M1500 Zoom Rechargeable Torch - 1800 lumens

Unfortunately, the torch arrived without a carrying strap. It does not reach the specified 1800 lumens with the supplied battery... for that, you would need a cell with a higher discharge current or would need to charge it via USB during operation. I'm not sure exactly how the electronics work here, but in any case, the full brightness is not achieved this way. After a short period of use, the lamp automatically dims down, even though the battery is fully charged. It's noticeable that the brightness fluctuates slightly during use – sometimes brighter, sometimes dimmer. In the lower modes you barely notice this, but it's quite apparent in the higher ones. Presumably, the electronics mistakenly detect a low battery because of brief voltage drops under high load. It's a shame, because otherwise the product is well-made and pleasant to use.

The torch was often used for inspection. After some time, USB charging stopped working, the O-ring was damaged during frequent focus changes, and then the on-off button started to stick and remained on. Replacing the battery is recommended first. On the plus side: adjustable focus, magnet and map reading mode. I rather recommend it for bivouacks and camping.

The torch is quite good. Like every device, it has its pros and cons. Unfortunately, in my case, the lens moved inside, so I only enjoyed the equipment for a short time. The complaint was accepted and I received a refund. The shop's service is top-notch – I recommend it.

Very good, strong light, another plus is the option to use the torch as a power bank. Unfortunately, a fully charged battery only lasts about 30 minutes of use, even after charging all night. After a few months, the head started to jam and is hard to move.

If you're looking for a torch for occasional use and don't want to spend a lot on an Olight, this one will meet your expectations. It shines quite well, although it takes a long time to charge. The build quality is decent, but for torch enthusiasts it may be insufficient.

The torch is really good, the price matches the quality and everything works flawlessly. However, don't be guided by the opinion to buy a 26650 battery – it's too big, I think the 26500 model will fit better.

The beam of light and the number of lighting modes are sufficient, but 5 hours of charging the battery for 20 minutes of operation at maximum power is quite a problem. I don’t know if the battery is faulty, because the torch is new and this was the first time I charged it.

The torch is ideal as an EDC. It has a good weight and size to power ratio. Nicely and precisely made, all elements fit well, with thoughtful solutions. Plenty of modes to choose from and overheating protection ensure comfortable use.

The torch works flawlessly. As for the run time on maximum power, mine lasted 1h10min. It’s worth knowing that you can power it with a 26650 cell – the 18650 battery is in a plastic adapter. After buying a 26650 cell from Litokala, the torch works for 3 hours at full power. Generally, I rate the device positively, but I was surprised to see visible fingerprints on the inside of the lens, which can’t be removed because the lens is glued in – this shouldn’t happen in a new product.

Great torch at a reasonable price. Compared to the XRG RX80 model I used before, this one is much better. When it comes to the battery, you can always replace it with a better one, but the one in the set is also sufficient. I recommend it, definitely worth it.

Fantastic torch. I bought it with little background knowledge and nothing to compare it with. I needed something sturdy, with strong light, and at a reasonable price. I based my decision on a few positive reviews and I wasn’t disappointed. The option to mark notes is also a plus. I am very satisfied. I think it’s a good option for people looking for a solid design and good light. It also looks very good. Highly recommended.

I was convinced to buy it by its strong light at a good price. Right after the first use, I tested the battery life, as this wasn't described. At maximum power, the torch runs for about 30 minutes, although after 6 minutes it became very hot and I had to stop the test – during this time it used about 20% of its energy. In medium mode, after half an hour it lost 25% of its energy, so you can assume that two hours of use is enough to fully discharge it. The torch itself is light and comfortable, the sliding light regulator is quite stiff, so there's no risk of accidental setting changes. The handle has a strong magnet, which is a big plus. The only drawback is the included lanyard – it was too small for an adult, so I immediately replaced it.
