Captivate lenses made of Selenite polycarbonate, Black Mirror coating
Captivate lenses are made from lightweight, shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate, characterised by high resistance to mechanical damage. A grey base tint combined with a Black Mirror coating effectively balances the visible light spectrum, providing natural colour reproduction and contrast enhancement. The lenses guarantee complete protection against UVA/UVB radiation and HEV blue light. The inner side of the lenses is coated with an anti-reflective layer that eliminates glare, and an oleophobic coating protects against dirt, water, grease, and dust, making it easy to maintain cleanliness.
Frames made of Triloid Nylon, streamlined frame shape
The frames are made from durable Triloid Nylon material, which is lightweight and highly resistant to mechanical damage. The streamlined frame design effectively limits light penetration from the sides, and rubber nose pads and double-injected temple tips provide better grip and stability during use.

- ANSI Z87.1 - this standard defines the impact resistance of the visor and frame. Tests include resistance to impact by a heavy steel object (High Mass) and a fast steel ball (High Velocity), indicating resistance to typical mechanical hazards.
- MIL-PRF-32432A - standardises the ballistic resistance of protective eyewear in accordance with military requirements. During testing, resistance to impact by a projectile of specified mass and speed is assessed, confirming the visor and frame's resistance to extreme mechanical hazards.
- ISO 12312-1 - this standard concerns the safety requirements of sunglasses regarding protection against solar radiation during everyday use and driving.
