Varusteleka L3 Softshell Jacket - M05 Finnish Woodland Camo

Windproof and breathable jacket made from flexible softshell fabric. Equipped with a practical hood that protects the head from rain and cold. Version in M05 Finnish Camo camouflage.

The softshell is made from lightweight fabric with a composition of 92% polyamide and 8% elastane, with a grammage of 184 g/m2. The elastane content increases the fabric's stretch, while the polyamide provides adequate durability while keeping the jacket lightweight. The fabric is windproof, breathable, and suited to intensive use in the field.

The fabric is coated with a hydrophobic DWR coating that limits moisture absorption and protects against light rain.

The jacket features a relatively high collar that increases protection for the neck against wind. Attached at the collar is a detachable hood equipped with a practical attachment system. An additional velcro fastening acts as a safeguard and reduces the risk of the hood coming off accidentally during use.

The jacket's fit was designed for users wearing backpacks, plate carriers, and chest rigs. Raglan sleeves reduce the risk of shoulder chafing and increase freedom of movement, even under additional load. The pocket zips are positioned on the sides, so the zip pulls do not interfere with chest-worn accoutrement and do not cause unnecessary snagging.

Ventilation zips are placed under the arms, allowing excess heat and moisture to be released quickly. This solution makes it possible to better match the level of ventilation to the intensity of the activity and the ambient temperature.

The fabric has undergone NIR treatment, so it absorbs and reflects near-infrared radiation in a way similar to a natural forest environment, effectively reducing the contrast of the silhouette in night vision devices.

There are velcro (velcro) panels on the shoulders, allowing any patch with a flag, insignia, or Morale Patch to be attached.

M05 (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) camouflage is a family of pixelated camouflage patterns introduced to the Finnish Armed Forces in 2005 as the successor to the M91 pattern. It was developed on the basis of digital analysis of photographs of Finnish forests taken during different seasons by the Finnish Forest Research Institute. The M05 family includes several variants, including woodland, snow, and cold weather.

The main woodland version of M05 consists of patches in light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite, effectively reproducing the structure of Finnish forests. Thanks to similar vegetation and terrain conditions, M05 Woodland camouflage also performs well in the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, providing effective concealment in a natural environment.
