The German brand Tasmanian Tiger is the premium division of the Tatonka company, which specialises exclusively in professional tactical equipment for the military and special services. The SR 38 mm Dual (Side Release) buckle is not just a piece of plastic from a haberdashery shop. It is a high-strength, critically load-resistant accessory, designed to replace broken buckles on load-bearing systems, tactical belts (war belts) or expedition backpack straps for 38 mm wide webbing. One such buckle costs as much as a set of 5-10 nameless Chinese buckles. But here you are paying for the guarantee that in the midst of an operation or a forced march, your backpack or belt will not be left without a fastener. This buckle is the ideal 'repair kit' for soldiers, hunters and extreme tourists. The buckle is very well made. It fits perfectly on a 4.5 mm wide strap. It holds firmly and does not move at all. I can honestly recommend this product if you need an inexpensive plastic buckle.
