The telescope is built with Maksutov optical system, the characteristics of which are excellent image sharpness and absence of chromatic aberration. It consists of a spherical meniscus corrector (Kron glass), a primary mirror and a secondary mirror located on the inner part of the meniscus.
The diameter of the tube is 120 mm, the focal length is 1300 mm, and the diameter of the eyepiece focuser is 1.25 inches. The maximum magnification is 153 x.
The telescope does not come with a mount, but it is possible to mount the tube on a photographic tripod using a suitable connector built into the tube. Due to the large focal length of the telescope, the manufacturer recommends astronomical mounts of at least AZ4 (azimuthal) or EQ3-2 (parallactic) class.
