Constructed with a Maksutov optical system, this telescope offers outstanding image clarity and eliminates chromatic aberration. It features a spherical meniscus corrector (Kron glass), a primary mirror, and a secondary mirror positioned internally on the meniscus.
The tube measures 120 mm in diameter, with a focal length of 1300 mm, and an eyepiece focuser diameter of 1.25 inches. The telescope's maximum magnification is 153x.
While the telescope does not include a mount, the tube can be attached to a photographic tripod using an integrated connector. Given the substantial focal length, the manufacturer advises using astronomical mounts of at least AZ4 (azimuthal) or EQ3-2 (parallactic) class.
