The pouch is made from 500D Cordura, a material characterised by high resistance to abrasion, tears, and intensive use in the field. The pouch is adapted for carrying in a horizontal layout, usually on the rear of a belt or on accoutrement elements. It can be mounted both directly on a belt (up to 50 mm), and in the MOLLE/PALS system on tactical vests, backpacks, or chest rigs. The velcro panel on the front allows for attaching various patches or emblems, e.g. national flags, unit insignias, or so-called Morale Patches.

PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system.
