Savotta Kantamus Backpack 40 l - M05 Finnish Woodland Camo

Backpack with a capacity of 40 litres in M05 Finnish Woodland Camo camouflage, made of durable, abrasion-resistant Cordura fabric. The model features adjustable straps and has been equipped with a hip strap and chest strap. The aluminium frame provides greater stability when carrying a heavy load.

Most surfaces are made of robust 1000D Cordura, ensuring high resistance to mechanical damage. Areas less prone to wear and tear, such as the pocket for the foam insert at the back and the roll-top closure, are made of lighter 500D Cordura.

The model features a spacious main compartment with easy access via a roll-top closure. Inside, there is a compartment for a hydration cartridge with an opening for a tube. On the sides there are two capacious pockets useful for bottles, water bottles or other accessories. A large, flat zipped pocket is located on the front. At the back is a removable foam insert that stiffens the structure and, when removed, can be used as a seat or insulation mat. There is a detachable flap at the top of the backpack, providing an additional approx. 8 litres of luggage space.

The backpack can be extended with PALS webbing to accommodate additional packs. Compression straps with buckles make it easy to adjust the volume or carry equipment. A Velcro fastener on the flap allows a badge or emblem to be attached.

The moulded, adjustable shoulder straps guarantee the right fit and comfort while walking. The chest strap is removable, while the hip strap is filled with soft foam and equipped with PALS webbing for attaching additional equipment. Its length is 140 cm. There is a carry handle on top for easy carrying. The entire pack is supported by an aluminium frame, which increases rigidity and stability when carrying heavy packs.

The M05 camouflage (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) is a family of pixelated camouflage patterns introduced into the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005 as a successor to the M91 pattern. It was developed based on digital analysis of photographs of Finnish forests taken in different seasons by the Finnish Forest Research Institute. The M05 family includes several variants, such as woodland, snow, and cold weather.

The main woodland version of M05 consists of patches in light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite, effectively replicating the structure of Finnish forests. Due to similar vegetation and terrain conditions, the M05 Woodland camouflage also performs well in the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, providing effective concealment in natural surroundings.
