Savotta Jaakari M Backpack 30 l - M05 Finnish Woodland Camo

A 30-litre capacity backpack in M05 Finnish Woodland Camo, suitable for everyday use, field tasks, and as part of a larger kit. Thanks to its slim design, contoured shoulder straps, and padded hip belt, it is ideal for longer hikes with heavier loads.

Main compartment top closure with drawstring collar. The flap features a zippered pocket for storing documents, keys, or a phone. A side zipper allows quick access to the interior without opening the flap. There are 2 mesh pockets on the sides.

The flap includes a velcro panel for attaching a patch, a national flag emblem, unit insignia, or Morale Patches. Inside the rear wall is a hydration bladder compartment. Two side ports allow for the tube to be routed from either the left or right side, as well as cables or antennas.

MOLLE/PALS system on the sides, flap, and hip belt allows for additional pouches and accessories to be attached. Four bottom loops allow for a sleeping bag, tent, or other gear to be secured. Side compression straps allow for adjusting the backpack volume to the load or for attaching extra gear externally.

The backpack is made of 1000D Cordura, known for its high resistance to abrasion and tearing, with an internal polyurethane coating. The straps and trims are made of durable polyester in accordance with military standards.

S-shaped padded shoulder straps with a detachable chest buckle and a soft hip belt with lumbar support ensure comfort under heavier loads. The belt is easily adjustable with a forward-pulling system and includes a quick-release buckle.

On the back, within a compartment, there is a removable stiffening insert made of plastic, allowing for even weight distribution and the elimination of pressure points on the back. This is a proprietary system by Savotta, enabling the Jääkäri M model to replace the in its default settings insert with a compatible aluminium frame (available separately).

The M05 camouflage (Finnish M05 Maastokuvio) is a family of pixelated camouflage patterns introduced into the Finnish Defence Forces in 2005 as a successor to the M91 pattern. It was developed based on digital analysis of photographs of Finnish forests taken in different seasons by the Finnish Forest Research Institute. The M05 family includes several variants, such as woodland, snow, and cold weather.

The main woodland version of M05 consists of patches in light green, dark green, brown, and dark graphite, effectively replicating the structure of Finnish forests. Due to similar vegetation and terrain conditions, the M05 Woodland camouflage also performs well in the forests of Central and Eastern Europe, providing effective concealment in natural surroundings.
