This is the first thermos I’ve ever had like this. Until now, a thermos was just something for carrying coffee or tea. I have to say, it’s a very convenient way to have a hot meal with you, without needing to cook it on the spot (which usually takes time). I definitely recommend it.

I highly recommend this flask, it maintains the temperature very well, is sturdily made, and I have no trouble opening it. So far it doesn't absorb odours. Most heat escapes through the lid, but a simple trick with aluminium foil between the lid and the bowl keeps the temperature 1-2 hours longer. After 6 hours, soup is still very warm.
