This is the first thermos I've ever owned. Until now, a thermos always made me think of carrying coffee or tea. I have to say, it's a very convenient way to have a hot meal with you without needing to cook it on the spot (which usually takes time). I definitely recommend it.

Cap with bowl function, safety valve
The model is equipped with a cap that also functions as a bowl for eating meals outdoors. Underneath it is an inner stopper with a gasket and a built-in safety valve. Before unscrewing the stopper, the valve should be pressed to safely release the excess pressure created from storing hot foods.

The thermos has an aesthetic look. I had some concerns when screwing the lid on for the first time because the thread seemed a bit crooked, but the thermos is leak-proof. It worked well during an autumn trip to the Pieniny mountains—the soup prepared in the morning was still hot in the late afternoon. I recommend it.

I highly recommend this thermos, it maintains temperature very well, is well made, and I have no trouble opening it. So far, it hasn't absorbed any odors. Most heat escapes through the lid, but a simple trick with aluminum foil between the lid and the bowl allows it to keep the temperature 1-2 hours longer. After 6 hours, the soup is still very warm.
