A lightweight and comfortable jacket with a tailored fit, reminiscent of the popularflyers jackets. The upper part was sewn from durable and tear-resistant nylon, which protects against wind and moisture. The interior is finished with a smooth nylon lining in a contrasting orange color.
The jacket is fastened with a one-way zipper. Elastic cuffs and a ribbed hem are responsible for maintaining the right temperature and ensure a very good fit to the wearer's build. Leather hooks on the zippers make them easy to operate, even when wearing gloves.
The MA-1 II is equipped with two side pockets with snap fasteners, an aviation pocket on the shoulder with a zipper and an internal pocket with a snap fastener. An embroidered emblem with a US Air Force troop motif is sewn on the shoulder.
