A lightweight and comfortable jacket with a fit reminiscent of the popular flyers jackets. The upper part was sewn from durable and tear-resistant nylon, which protects against wind and moisture. The interior is finished with a smooth nylon lining in a contrasting orange color.
The jacket is fastened with a one-way zipper. Elastic cuffs and ribbed bottom are responsible for maintaining the right temperature and ensure a very snug fit for the wearer's build. Leather hooks on the zippers make them easy to operate, even when wearing gloves.
The MA-1 II is equipped with two side pockets with snaps, an air pocket on the shoulder with a zipper, and an internal pocket with a snap closure. An embroidered emblem with the motif of the US Air Force troops was sewn on the shoulder.
