The shoes are well made and high-quality materials were used – a plus that the manufacturer clearly states the use of cowhide, without hiding it or resorting to marketing tricks. Important information regarding sizing: The shoes are at least one size larger than usual. I always wear a 44 and that's what I ordered, but the pair I received (as indicated on the packaging and sole) was much larger than my other shoes – the difference was about 2.5 – 3 cm. I easily exchanged them at Militaria.pl for a size 43, but even then they fit perfectly only after adding an extra insole – they are still slightly too big. Interestingly, the shop's website gives a size chart based on EU sizing, so it’s probably not a description error or a different standard. This model just comes up larger than typical sizing.
