Mil-Tec Smock Light Weight Jacket - Flecktarn

A military parka jacket in Flecktarn camouflage. It was made from a combination of cotton and durable polyester. The material was reinforced with a Rip-Stop weave and covered with Oxford coating, making the jacket resistant to abrasion, damage and dirt. The windproof lining protects against the penetration of cold air.

The two-way zipper used to fasten the jacket has been covered with a buttoned strip, which protects it from sand, dust or dirt. The jacket has been equipped with a special system of loops for attaching camouflage netting, as well as underarm zippers for adequate ventilation.

The jacket is equipped with 13 pockets:
- 2 flap-fastened chest pockets (inside of which are D-rings),
- 2 zippered chest pockets,
- 4 hip pockets fastened with a flap,
- 1 split flap-fastened back pocket,
- 1 left shoulder pocket fastened with a flap,
- 1 snap-fastened right shoulder pocket,
- 2 inner zippered pockets.

Adjustable cuffs and hood, as well as welts located at the waist and hips, allow the jacket to fit the wearer's figure very well. The high collar protects the neck from air penetration, and the reinforced elbow area protects against rubbing the material, for example, when crawling.

On the right chest there is a Velcro allowing to attach any patches or emblems, such as the national flag, the unit emblem or the so-called Morale Patches, which will give the jacket an individual touch.

Flecktarn is a classic German military camouflage pattern, officially introduced for use by the Bundeswehr in 1990. The pattern is based on small, irregular spots in five colors – typically dark green, olive, brown, black and beige. With the distribution of numerous dots and blurred boundaries between the colors, Flecktarn effectively distracts from the wearer's silhouette in forest terrain, as well as in scrubland or against the background of forest undergrowth. The camouflage was designed for European climatic conditions, especially for the temperate zone. To this day, Flecktarn remains a standard pattern used by the German army, other military and police officers. Its effectiveness has led to numerous variants and adaptations in other countries.
