The sweatshirt has been sewn with attention to detail and looks very neat. The material is a blend of cotton and polyester in a fifty-fifty ratio, using a Rip-Stop weave. Highlights include a two-way zip protected by a flap, as many as 5 pockets (including one inside), velcro panels and the ability to adjust the cuffs.
A uniform combat jacket with a classic cut sewn from durable material (50% polyester, 50% cotton) with a Rip-Stop weave, in a unique MAPA camouflage. The CJ-02 combat jacket will perform well in tactical training, survival, ASG and recreational outdoor activities. Although intended for the civilian market, it will also be appreciated by professionals in the uniformed services. It is fastened with a two-way zipper covered with a patch.
The camouflage pattern MAPA was designed by Maciej Dojlitko, a graduate and currently a researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design of the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk, author of, among other publications, Theory of Deconstructing Visual Communication. Tools for designing military camouflage (Gdansk 2015). The innovative design, supported by convincing theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of photographs of the terrain, attracted the attention of specialists and military clothing manufacturers. In 2017, the MAPA camouflage made its debut at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce as a camouflage pattern for the Dromader system of armor and uniforms from Maskpol, which is part of the Polish Armament Group. The system was created for soldiers of the Territorial Defense Army, but the MAPA camouflage itself was also considered as a perspective pattern for the entire Polish Armed Forces, where it could replace the camouflage pattern wz.93. Unfortunately, the MAPA camouflage has not been implemented as an official camouflage pattern of the Polish Army to date.
Most important features of MAPA camouflage in basic forest variant:
- 6 colors that form layers resembling levels on a map,
- colors optimized for operations in the forests of Central Europe,
- the use of the illusion of three-dimensionality and anamorphosis effect,
- the use of the illusion of three-dimensionality and anamorphosis effect,
- biomorphic shapes making the design similar to vegetation,
- strongly contrasting elements imitating flashes of light and shadows,
- deformation of the masked silhouette by means of a macro pattern,
- color noise reproduced by means of a micro pattern.
The MAPA pattern is an interesting alternative to the best contemporary camouflage patterns such as PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn or Finnish M/05. In some respects, it is more advanced than them, and better reproduces the colors found in Central European forests in the period from later spring to early autumn.
The US-23 material used to sew the combat jacket is a 50/50 combination of soft cotton and durable polyester. The material is lightweight, breathable and pleasant to the touch. It is characterized by high resistance to abrasion and tearing thanks to the Rip-Stop weave.
The combat jacket has been equipped with five practical pockets:
- two on the chest fastened with Velcro,
- two on the shoulders zippered,
- a smaller zippered interior pocket.
The model features a comfortable cut that provides maximum freedom of movement. Special pockets (closed with Velcro) have been placed on the elbows, which allow to apply protective inserts.
The elbows have special pockets (closed with Velcro), which allow to apply protective inserts.
There are velcro panels sewn into the chest and shoulders, allowing for the attachment of any patches or emblems, such as the national flag, unit emblem or so-called Morale Patches.
Cuffs are sewn on the sleeves around the wrists, the circumference of which can be adjusted with Velcro. High collar protects the neck from unfriendly weather conditions.

The sweatshirt is carefully made and very comfortable. The pockets are capacious, but there could be a few more.
-
The product is of a high standard. I recommend it – great cut and a very good purchase.
-
The sweatshirt is sturdy and durable. It’s a pity not all the pockets have zips, but I still recommend it due to the interesting camouflage.
-
The sweatshirt is very good, made from durable material. I recommend it, it's really worth it.
-
The sweatshirt is made from good quality material, with several pockets. The camouflage is very good.

I wanted the MAPA camouflage and that’s exactly what I got – one hundred percent original. The sweatshirt is very light and soft, it’s very comfortable to wear. As for durability – it’s hard to judge after just a few days, but the manufacturer is reliable, so it should be fine. The dart in the middle of the back instead of the sides seems unusual and might get in the way under a rucksack or straps. Despite that, I’m happy with my purchase.

The sweatshirt is great, but I chose size M, which still fits my 172 cm height, but with a waist of 94 cm it’s already too tight at the bottom. Next time, I’ll go for size L – trousers with this camouflage in that size work very well.

Great sweatshirt, I’ve been using it for over a week and I’m very pleased. Pros: - MAPA as camouflage pattern - practical pockets - Velcro by the zip - Velcro panels - Side slits at the bottom Cons: - The Velcro panels are in the shape of the Maskpol logo – square ones would have been better.
-
The material is strong, the seams are solid, and the camouflage looks very good.
-
The camouflage attracts attention, and the sweatshirt itself is made from a very pleasant, but thin, material.
-
At first, I had some problems choosing the sweatshirt size because the size chart was changed after launch. After the update and purchase, it turned out the sweatshirt fits perfectly – just like the chart. The material is excellent, delicate and soft – completely different from typical military sweatshirts. The camouflage looks great – my dream has come true, though the price was high. Overall, I definitely give it 5 stars.
-
The camouflage is unique – really great. It’s just a shame the Polish Army didn’t use it.
-
The camouflage makes a strong impression – a really interesting pattern.
-
The material does not irritate the skin, the seams are solid, and the camouflage looks great. I recommend both the sweatshirt and the entire MAPE collection.
