The sweatshirt is made with attention to detail and looks very aesthetically pleasing. The material is a blend of cotton and polyester in a half-and-half ratio, using a Rip-Stop weave. Highlights include a two-way zipper protected by a flap, as many as 5 pockets (including one inside), velcro panels, and the ability to adjust the cuffs.
A standard combat jacket featuring a classic design, crafted from resilient fabric (50% polyester, 50% cotton) with a Rip-Stop weave and a distinctive MAPA camouflage. The CJ-02 combat jacket is ideal for tactical training, survival, airsoft, and recreational outdoor pursuits. Although aimed at the civilian market, it also appeals to professionals in uniformed services. The jacket is secured with a two-way zipper shielded by a flap.
The MAPA camouflage pattern was created by Maciej Dojlitko, an alumnus and current researcher at the Faculty of Architecture and Design at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdansk. The designer is also known for authoring works such as Theory of Deconstructing Visual Communication: Tools for Designing Military Camouflage (Gdansk 2015). This innovative design, backed by substantial theoretical and experimental arguments, including computer analysis of thousands of terrain photographs, gained the attention of experts and military apparel producers. In 2017, the MAPA camouflage was introduced at the International Defense Industry Exhibition in Kielce as a pattern for the Dromader system of armor and uniforms by Maskpol, a part of the Polish Armament Group. This system was intended for soldiers in the Territorial Defense Army, and the MAPA pattern was also considered as a prospective design for the entire Polish Armed Forces to potentially replace the wz.93 pattern. However, to date, the MAPA camouflage has not been adopted as the official pattern for the Polish Army.
Most important features of MAPA camouflage in basic forest variant:
- 6 colors that form layers resembling levels on a map,
- colors optimized for operations in the forests of Central Europe,
- the use of the illusion of three-dimensionality and anamorphosis effect,
- the use of the illusion of three-dimensionality and anamorphosis effect,
- biomorphic shapes making the design similar to vegetation,
- strongly contrasting elements imitating flashes of light and shadows,
- deformation of the masked silhouette by means of a macro pattern,
- color noise reproduced by means of a micro pattern.
The MAPA pattern is an interesting alternative to the best contemporary camouflage patterns such as PenCott, MultiCam, Kryptek, Flecktarn or Finnish M/05. In some respects, it is more advanced than them, and better reproduces the colors found in Central European forests in the period from later spring to early autumn.
The US-23 material used for producing the combat jacket is a 50/50 mix of soft cotton and strong polyester. This fabric is lightweight, breathable, and comfortable to the touch. Its Rip-Stop weave contributes to its high resistance against abrasion and tearing.
The combat jacket includes five practical pockets:
- two on the chest secured with Velcro,
- two zippered pockets on the shoulders,
- a smaller interior pocket with a zipper.
The jacket features an ergonomic cut that allows maximum freedom of movement. Special pockets (closed with Velcro) are located on the elbows to accommodate protective inserts.
The elbows include special pockets (secured with Velcro) designed to hold protective inserts.
Velcro panels are integrated into the chest and shoulders, enabling the attachment of any patches or emblems, such as the national flag, unit insignia, or so-called Morale Patches.
Cuffs stitched on the sleeves around the wrists allow for circumference adjustment with Velcro. A high collar safeguards the neck against harsh weather conditions.

The sweatshirt is carefully made and very comfortable. The pockets are spacious, although there could be a few more of them.
-
The product is of a high standard. I recommend it – great cut and a very good purchase.
-
The sweatshirt is sturdy and durable. It's a pity that not all the pockets have zippers, but I still recommend it because of the interesting camouflage.
-
The sweatshirt is very good, made of durable material. I recommend it, it's really worth it.
-
Sweatshirt made of solid material, several pockets. Camouflage is very good.

I wanted the MAPA camouflage and that's exactly what I got – one hundred percent original. The sweatshirt is very light and soft, it's really comfortable to wear. As for durability, it's hard to judge after just a few days, but the manufacturer is reliable, so it should be okay. The dart in the middle of the back instead of on the sides seems unusual and might be uncomfortable under a backpack or straps. Still, I'm satisfied with my purchase.

The sweatshirt is great, but I chose size M, which still fits at my height of 172 cm, but with a waist of 94 cm, it's already too narrow at the bottom. Next time, I'll go for size L – pants in this camo in that size work very well.
-
Great sweatshirt, I've been using it for over a week now and I'm very satisfied. Pros: - mapa as a camouflage pattern - practical pockets - Velcro at the zipper - Velcro panels - slits at the bottom Cons: - Velcro panels are in the shape of the Maskpol logo – square ones would be better.
-
The material is strong, the seams solid, and the camouflage looks very good.
-
The camouflage catches the eye and the sweatshirt itself is made of a very pleasant but thin material.
-
At first, I had some trouble choosing the sweatshirt size because the size chart was changed after the launch. After the update and purchase, it turned out that the sweatshirt fits perfectly – just as in the chart. The material is excellent, delicate, and soft, completely different than in typical uniform sweatshirts. The camouflage looks great – my dream came true, although the price was high. Judging it, I definitely give it 5 stars.
-
The camouflage is unique – really great. It's just a pity the WP didn't take advantage of it.
-
The camouflage makes a big impression – a really interesting pattern.
-
The material does not irritate the skin, the seams are solid, and the camouflage looks good. I recommend both the sweatshirt and the entire MAPE collection.
