Helikon Lighstick 6" - Infrared
The chemical light is a disposable product. The principle of operation is based on a chemical reaction that occurs when 2 chemical solutions come into contact. In order for the chemical reaction to occur, the tube must be bent. As a result of a gentle shock, the solutions react with each other, emitting light. The reaction is completely safe.
Light in the infrared band is invisible to the unaided eye, which is why it is a great device for performing traps - an intruder without night vision is not able to notice in the dark either a stumbling block or a lashing, meanwhile, an observer (sentry) supervising a selected section with the help of night vision will first notice the movement of light and shadow, even from a distance of 10 times the nominal range of the device.
No heat energy is generated during the process. Chemical lights are unique light sources that do not require any power supply. They are very lightweight and efficient. They are ideal for signaling, position marking, emergency information, accident site markings, vest fittings or as an alternative light source. The main advantage of the chemical light is the emission of light in a 360-degree angle. These lights are non-toxic, non-flammable.
