A patrol cap with a short brim made in UCP camouflage. The model is sewn from durable PolyCotton Rip-Stop material, which is a blend of cotton and polyester. On the back part, there is a velcro panel that allows for attaching emblems, flags, unit markings, and so-called Morale Patches. The brim effectively protects the eyes and face from the sun's rays, making the cap suitable for outdoor activities, shooting range visits, official duties, and everyday use. The patrol cap is designed in the Universal Camouflage Pattern, used by line units in Iraq and Afghanistan.
Durable PolyCotton Rip-Stop material, grammage 215 g/m2
The cap is sewn from high-quality PolyCotton Rip-Stop material with a composition of 60% cotton and 40% polyester. The fabric stands out with its high resistance to abrasion and tearing, and thanks to the polyester content, it is lighter and dries faster than 100% cotton materials. The material has a grammage of 215 g/m2, ensuring a proper balance between durability and comfort of use.
Velcro panel, hidden pocket
On the back part of the cap, there is a velcro strip that allows attaching selected emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia, or Morale Patches. This allows for customisation of the cap and adjustment to personal preferences.
Inside the cap, there is a hidden pocket useful for storing small items, such as a map. The model works perfectly during forest walks, protecting the head from the sun, falling leaves, and insects.

UCP camouflage
UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) is a digital camouflage pattern introduced at the beginning of the 21st century as a successor to US Woodland and Desert. It combines camouflage functions in various environments - forest, desert and urban - which is why shades of green and beige are combined with gray. The spot arrangement is based on the MARPAT pattern, and the pastel, low-contrast colors create a pixelated micro-pattern that blends well into the environment at short distances but merges into a uniform silhouette at greater distances. UCP showed high effectiveness in infrared, which contributed to its introduction, but it was eventually replaced by OCP camouflage based on the MultiCam pattern.

This is already my second one of these (I lost the previous one). Plus for the availability of large sizes (I wear size 62). Comfortable cap, fits the head well. Very nice hidden pocket. It may be a bit too warm in hot weather.
