I got this bottle for everyday use and for when I’m on the go, because I wanted a proper litre bottle that wasn’t heavy. I like Tritan: it’s lightweight, doesn’t look like “cheap plastic”, and is convenient to carry water around. The one-litre capacity is just right, no need to keep refilling it all the time. A few things: in the first few days it had a slight plastic smell, but after a few washes it nearly disappeared. Also, if you throw it into your rucksack carelessly, the bottle can get scratched, especially if it’s a light colour. Overall, it’s a simple bottle that does its job just fine.

Fjord Nansen may not offer a multitude of solutions, but what it does provide is of a high standard. This bottle is another example of that approach. It works perfectly as an expansion to the Tritan Bottle 0.65 when you need more water for an expedition, but it also performs excellently on its own. The additional cap is available at a good price. It's clear that they truly know how to design functional outdoor equipment.
