The self-inflating mat in its classic form combines light weight with great comfort, making it ideal for tourism, kayaking, or cycling trips. An innovative solution like the Diamond Perforation System allows for improved ergonomics and reduced size when folded.

The Trekking NG model is characterised by a thermal insulation coefficient of R-Value 2.2, determined according to the standard ASTM F3340-18. This parameter defines the level of insulation from the ground—the higher the value, the more effective the reduction in heat loss.

Interpretation of R-Value used in the outdoor industry:

• 1.0-2.0 - suitable for summer conditions (night temperatures above approx. 10 deg. C),
• 2.1-3.5 - suitable for spring-summer-autumn use (approx. 0-10 deg. C),
• 3.6-5.0 - cool conditions, around 0 deg. C and negative temperatures down to approx. -5 /-10 deg. C,
• 5.1-7.0 - winter use, temperatures below 0 deg. C,
• above 7.0 - winter conditions with increased insulation requirements.

Actual thermal comfort depends on the sleeping system (sleeping bag, clothing), type of ground, and the user's individual resistance to cold.

The mat has a thickness of 2 cm, providing high comfort and effective insulation from uneven and cold ground. The outer layer made of polyester material with a TPU coating is distinguished by good resistance to abrasion and mechanical damage. The interior contains self-expanding foam, which, when the valve is unscrewed, automatically draws in air, giving the mat the appropriate stiffness. The change to a round perforation design reduces weight and volume when packed, without losing insulating properties.

Unfolding the mat involves unscrewing the cap, which allows the foam to automatically expand and fill with air. If necessary, it is recommended to top up the mat 1-2 times orally and close the valve to achieve the desired firmness. When rolling the mat, the air naturally escapes, making it easy to compress and reducing luggage volume.

When folded, the mat measures 51 x 10 cm. The set also includes a repair kit.
