Fjord Nansen Swinge System Hammock Suspension

This is one of the best solutions I have had the chance to try. Everything you need to hang a hammock is in one set. Advantages: a. takes up little space b. lightweight, you no longer need other straps or carabiners. I noticed only one disadvantage: a single stitch at the loop spot, but this can be easily fixed, for example, with an extra stitch (by hand or machine). The small loops can be used as spares or to replace the hammock cords. I don't see the point in making loops from the main straps with buckles – it's enough to thread and wrap the strap end with the loop around the tree and thread the rest through it. That way, you only lose as much as the circumference of the tree and you get a huge range of length adjustment thanks to the buckle, which really makes it easy to use. This method effectively prevents the strap from slipping off the tree and eliminates troublesome adjustment with double wrapping.

When I received the straps and opened them, I had trouble figuring out how to use them properly. Some people in the comments also ask about the use of the two straps – they are intended for attaching the hammock; then we attach the carabiner to one strap, which is then attached to the other strap equipped with two handles and an adjustment buckle. However, I'm wondering why on one side the loops are sewn only once, while on the other they are sewn triple – people with higher weight might have problems because of this; it's not a very well-thought-out solution.

The system with the buckle works excellently, it doesn't require much force and works problem-free in winter, unlike tying knots by hand or using whoopie slings, which can freeze. I also don't know what the two additional small loops are for. The disadvantage of my set is the size of the end loops – the adjustment buckles barely fit through if I try to wrap the tree from end to end. Maybe these extra loops are supposed to solve this problem.

The product consists of two loops made from webbing (I'm not sure what they're for), and two adjustable straps that can be used to create an adjustable loop. The overall solution is rather average, because each time I have to wrap the loop around the tree, attach it to the hammock, and if I later want to change the length and extend the strap, I have to redo the wrapping around the tree so the ends match up. With each adjustment, you have to fix everything again from scratch.

Very good system for hanging a hammock. I recommend it to all hammock owners because it significantly simplifies and speeds up installation.
