Temperatures and usage conditions
Operating temperatures of the Svalbard sleeping bag in accordance with EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: 5 C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can comfortably sleep through the night,
- T-limit: 0 C – the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -14 C – the lowest survival temperature. Not recommended for regular use.
10D Rip-Stop nylon with Water Repellent coating
Both the exterior and interior use lightweight 10D Rip-Stop nylon with a hydrophobic WR coating (Water Repellent). The impregnation limits moisture absorption, while the Rip-Stop structure prevents abrasion and further tearing. Inside, there's a small pocket for essentials and loops to attach an insulating liner.
Goose down filling, H-chamber construction
Thermal insulation and airflow are ensured by Polish goose down in a 93+/7 ratio. A fill power of 900 cuin provides high compressibility, allowing the bag to be packed compactly. H-shaped baffles eliminate down shifting. The footbox with a drawcord contains an extra insulating layer for better thermal comfort around the feet.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The model features a two-way zipper on the right side, allowing it to be fully opened from the top and making entry and exit easier. A fluorescent puller enables operation in the dark. The Anti-Bite system prevents fabric from catching in the zipper. An internal thermal baffle provides added protection.
Integrated hood with DUO drawcord
The 3D hood improves thermal efficiency, wrapping the head and preventing heat loss. Its shape adds protection from wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord, combining elastic and strap, allows intuitive adjustment—elastic around the neck lets you extend your hand quickly, while the back strap loosens selected areas, useful at night.
Easy transport and storage
Easy to carry and store. When packed, it measures 24 x 17 cm and weighs only 535 g, making it highly portable without overloading your backpack.
