Temperatures and usage conditions
Usage temperatures of the Fredvang sleeping bag, in accordance with EN 13537 standard:
- T-comfort: 17 deg. C - the minimum temperature at which a woman can sleep all night in comfort,
- T-limit: 12 deg. C - the lowest temperature ensuring a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: 1 deg. C - the minimum conditions in which one can survive in the sleeping bag, but it is not a temperature recommended for typical use.
Rip-Stop polyester, lining from polyester 290T Pongee
The outer layer of polyester with Rip-Stop weave effectively protects against abrasions and mechanical damage, reducing the risk of further material tearing. The lining of 290T polyester Pongee guarantees a pleasant contact with the skin and good breathability. This combination makes the sleeping bag suitable for both intense expeditions and leisurely camping. Inside the sleeping bag, there is a small pocket for essential accessories and loops for attaching an additional thermal liner.
Filling Eko Loft Hollowfiber
The warmth is maintained by synthetic Eko Loft Hollowfiber filling made from spiral twisted and siliconised polyester fibres. Quilting of the outer materials immobilises the filling, ensuring its even distribution throughout the sleeping bag. The insulation retains its thermal properties even after getting wet, washing and intensive use. It is suitable for people allergic to down, as it does not cause allergic reactions.
Zip on the right side, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag is equipped with a two-way zip, placed on the right side, allowing it to be fully unzipped from both top and bottom, facilitating quick entry and exit. Thanks to the Anti-Bite system, the material does not get caught in the zip. On the inside, the slider is protected by a thermal strip. It is possible to connect with another sleeping bag from the same series.
Integrated hood protecting against cold, DUO drawstring
Built-in hood with 3D construction increases thermal insulation, enveloping the head and protecting against heat loss during cold nights. Its shape also offers protection against wind and moisture. DUO drawstring is a system combining elastic with a tape. The elastic around the neck allows the hand to be extended without the need for adjustment, while the tape allows for quick loosening in a chosen spot, which is particularly useful during night-time activities.
Convenient transport and storage
The model is easy to transport and store. Once folded, the sleeping bag reaches dimensions of 27 x 14 cm, and its weight is only 600 g, making it easy to carry without excessively increasing the baggage weight.

Rip-Stop weave protects the fabric from abrasions and tears. It is characterized by additional threads woven in at regular intervals, forming a mesh-like pattern. It provides high strength to the fabric, increases resistance to mechanical damage, especially tears.
Anti-Bite is a system that prevents material from getting jammed in the zipper, used in outdoor clothing and equipment. It prevents the fabric from blocking the zipper, which increases the durability of the product and improves the comfort of use, especially in outdoor conditions.
Eko Loft Hollowfiber is a synthetic insulation material used in sleeping bags. It consists of spirally twisted, siliconized polyester fibers of various diameters, which form a system of microchannels filled with air. Thanks to this structure, the filling is warm, resilient and easy to compress. It retains its insulating properties even in a humid environment – it does not absorb moisture, and at the same time allows the removal of water vapor produced by the body. This material provides thermal comfort at low temperatures and is also anti-allergenic.
DUO drawstring in Fjord Nansen sleeping bags is a two-zone adjustment system, which allows you to adjust the hood independently with an elastic band in front and a tape with a lock in the back.
