Durable sleeping bag in Olive Drab color, mummy-shaped for comfortable body positioning and freedom of movement during sleep. Made of high-quality polyamide, with a strong outer shell and MICROFill Super-Therm insulation.
Temperatures and usage conditions
The Ardal sleeping bag’s temperature ratings are based on EN 13537 standards:
- T-comfort: 14 C – the lowest temperature at which a woman can sleep comfortably all night,
- T-limit: 10 C – the minimum temperature at which a man can sleep without discomfort,
- T-extreme: -3 C – the lowest temperature one can survive in the sleeping bag. Not recommended for regular use.
210T Rip-Stop polyester, polyamide lining
The outer part is made of 210T Rip-Stop polyester, effectively protecting against abrasion and mechanical damage. Thanks to the woven structure, any damage does not easily spread. The inside is finished with 190T polyamide. The lower section is shaped like a footbox to better match the natural foot position, reducing empty space and improving thermal insulation in that area. Inside there is a small pocket for essentials and loops for attaching an additional thermal liner.
MICROfill Super-Therm insulation
The inside of the sleeping bag is filled with MICROfill Super-Therm synthetic insulation, which stands out for its light weight and softness. The microfiber structure ensures good loft and high insulation performance. The material maintains its thermal properties even after many washes.
Right-side zipper, Anti-Bite system
The sleeping bag features a two-way zipper on the right side, which can be opened from both the top and bottom for easier entry and exit. A fluorescent puller improves usability in the dark. Thanks to the Anti-Bite system, the fabric does not snag in the zipper. From the inside, the zipper is protected with a thermal baffle. This model can be zipped together with another bag from the same series.
Integrated hood for cold protection, Duo drawcord
The built-in 3D hood significantly increases thermal insulation by closely wrapping the head and preventing heat loss. Its ergonomic shape also provides protection against wind and moisture. The Duo drawcord is a practical combination of elastic and webbing – the elastic around the neck allows the hand to be extended freely without adjusting the settings, while the webbing at the back enables quick loosening at a specific spot, which is especially useful in low-visibility conditions, such as at night.
Convenient transport and storage
The model is designed for easy transport and compression. When packed, it measures 27 x 14 cm and weighs 800 g, making it a practical choice for hiking and expeditions where every gram counts.
