The Dragon Egg Mk. II is an excellent EDC and tactical backpack – compact in size, yet offering plenty of space, featuring a laser-cut MOLLE system and brilliantly designed shoulder straps. It works great both in the city and for shorter trips. Solid, well thought out and definitely worth its price.
The Direct Action Dragon Egg is a 25 litre patrol rucksack that is also suitable for everyday use. Very durable 500D Cordura is used in its construction. Convenient carrying in the hand is made possible by a large carry handle manufactured from 5 metres of 550 paracord cord.
The Dragon Egg is equipped with 3 compartments closed via a zipper. The rear compartment is suitable for carrying a hydration cartridge or a laptop with a screen size of up to 15.6’, thanks to a padded pocket securing the device.
The spacious main compartment can also be used to carry a hydration cartridge, and is equipped with an attachment and an opening for a tube and mouthpiece. In addition, there is also a large mesh pocket .
The front compartment features an extensive organiser with two pockets, making it easier to carry EDC equipment. There is a flat mesh pocket on the front of the compartment with a zipped closure.
Bottles can be carried in dedicated, partially elastic side pockets. The front of the backpack features a 10 x 5 cmvelcro panel for attaching patches or emblems. Underneath the velcro is a flat zipped pocket.
Dragon Egg has been covered with a laser-cut panel compatible with the MOLLE/PALS system. Thanks to its shape, the backpack has smaller dimensions than rucksacks of similar capacity, making it much easier to work with ballistic waistcoats and accouterments on the belt.
Attaching useful small items is made possible by D-Rings on the shoulder straps and top of the backpack, as well as daisy chain loops . There are compression straps on the sides and at the bottom of the rucksack. Reliability is ensured by the YKK brand zips used and the Duraflex buckles from WooJin.
The carry system is made up of length-adjustable, quick-release profiled shoulder straps, complemented by chest and hip belts, which guarantee a stable positioning of the backpack. The back of the rucksack has been manufactured using the Combat Vent System, which ensures improved ventilation thanks to the use of moulded foam covered with mesh and numerous air supply channels.

Camouflage Flecktarn
Flecktarn is a classic German military camouflage pattern, officially introduced for use by the Bundeswehr in 1990. The pattern is based on small, irregular spots in five colors – typically dark green, olive, brown, black and beige. With the distribution of numerous dots and blurred boundaries between the colors, Flecktarn effectively distracts from the wearer's silhouette in forest terrain, as well as in scrubland or against the background of forest undergrowth. The camouflage was designed for European climatic conditions, especially for the temperate zone. To this day, Flecktarn remains a standard pattern used by the German army, other military and police officers. Its effectiveness has led to numerous variants and adaptations in other countries.

Excellent, very spacious backpack. The front compartment has plenty of pockets and dividers for various gadgets, both small and large. The zips are strong and should withstand heavy use. The laptop compartment is large – you can easily fit a notebook and a medium-sized book. The shoulder straps are thick and comfortable. I highly recommend this product.

I have recently bought my second Direct Action Dragon Egg Mk. II 25L backpack in ranger green, and it quickly became one of the most important parts of my gear. Here are my impressions from using this solid and versatile backpack. Appearance and Style The ranger green colour is discreet yet tactical, making the backpack suitable for various environments. Its exceptionally slim profile makes it look compact even though it's quite capacious. The whole pack appears sturdy and professional – perfect both for outdoor adventures and for use in the city. Quality The workmanship is of a high standard. The 500D Cordura material ensures durability and resistance to damage – the backpack holds up well even in intensive use. Strong stitching and well-fitted zips are standard in Direct Action products, and the whole backpack feels very robust. Comfort The backpack is extremely comfortable to wear. The shoulder straps are thickly padded, well designed and easy to adjust, so even when fully loaded, it's not uncomfortable. The back is also soft and breathable, which adds value to comfort during long distances. It works perfectly both on short trips and for everyday use. Functionality and Space The 25L capacity is ideal for a day out or regular duties. The main compartment is large, has a pocket for a hydration system, and several pouches for smaller items. The external MOLLE system allows you to attach additional gear. The side pockets are great for water bottles or things requiring quick access. Usage Whether I’m going hiking, commuting to work or travelling, the backpack performs brilliantly. It protects the contents even in bad weather – both in rain and snow, the gear inside remains dry. Summary The Direct Action Dragon Egg Mk. II 25L in ranger green is a great choice for those looking for a solid, stylish and practical backpack. Thanks to its excellent workmanship, carrying comfort and well-thought-out design, I genuinely recommend it to both outdoor enthusiasts and people who use a backpack daily. If you value reliability and versatility, this model will be an excellent investment.

I recently bought the Direct Action Dragon Egg Mk. II 25L backpack and I must say it has changed my experience during outdoor activities. The build quality is excellent – it’s clear that the backpack was designed for long-term use, even in tough conditions. The interior organisation is very good, with plenty of compartments to keep your gear in order. I really appreciate the compatibility with a hydration system, which makes it easy to access water during hikes. Adjustable straps provide comfort even when fully loaded, which is important on long routes. The backpack’s aesthetics are also top-notch – it looks modern, and the wide range of colours is an additional bonus. Thanks to the MOLLE straps, you can freely expand it with additional pouches. In summary: the Dragon Egg Mk. II is a functional, solid and stylish backpack that works great both outdoors and in the city. Highly recommended.

The description of the backpack is inaccurate. No laptop with a 15.4-15.6 inch screen will fit into the back pocket, it's physically impossible. It's a shame because that's what I was hoping for, and I was disappointed. However, the workmanship, materials and overall quality are outstanding. The backpack itself is smaller than I expected.

The backpack is distinguished by excellent quality. I chose it mainly because of the dedicated laptop compartment, which is located on the back side and can accommodate both a laptop and a tablet. Additionally, there is a strap that keeps your equipment secure. The backpack has many different compartments, is very spacious and thoughtfully designed. The handle, hip belt and chest strap are strong and durable. Side pockets with velcro, the possibility of tightening the sides with straps and the option to mount additional equipment are great advantages. A downside could be the weight – 1600g, which is noticeable. However, the perforated back panel, sturdy handle and high quality compensate for this inconvenience.

Good morning! I have been using the backpack for a few days, but it already brings me a lot of satisfaction. I really like it in the Shadow Grey shade, it looks fashionable. Although it’s a tactical backpack, it doesn’t look aggressive or intimidating. The many pockets allow convenient organisation of things. It's durable, has good zips, and the side pockets are elastic – that's a great solution. The laptop fits easily, and a 1L Nalgene bottle fits perfectly into the side pockets. An additional advantage is the paracord handle. Thank you to the shop for the lightning-fast shipping. I am very satisfied.

The backpack is fantastic – both the materials and the workmanship are top-notch. It performed excellently during a trip to Japan, and during a long, 15-hour journey I appreciated the number of pockets and compartments for small accessories. While sightseeing, I had everything at hand and well organised. Its design stands out among other models seen on the streets. I particularly recommend it to those who like the military style, but also to those who value functionality and sturdiness. I am convinced it will serve for many years. I rate it 10/10 and can recommend it with a clear conscience!
-
I use it every day and for short trips to the forest. The backpack is of very high quality. I chose this model because it has straps to which you can attach, for example, a tent underneath. Despite its small size, it's really spacious.
-
This is the most comfortable backpack I've ever had, the material is durable and you can immediately see the high quality of workmanship. I wholeheartedly recommend it to everyone – definitely worth its price.
-
I give five stars because the backpack is attractive, exceptionally durable and has many compartments, but... unfortunately, there are also downsides. The straps rub against your arms, which becomes uncomfortable over time. The backpack looks large and is quite heavy, but it actually doesn’t hold that many things.

Yes, I bought this bag and the package arrived in about 10-11 days. The product is solid and aesthetically made. I did not incur any additional tax costs. The colour of the bag is much darker than in the photo, but overall I am satisfied.
-
The backpack is solidly made, I use it every day and so far I haven't noticed any problems. The carrying system is very comfortable, even with heavy loads you can't feel it on your back. I definitely recommend this product.

Very high level of workmanship, DA class.

I considered buying this backpack for a long time, analysed descriptions and read reviews online. I finally decided, and I have no regrets. It’s a great backpack! Very comfortable to use – it works both in the forest and in the city.
