Very solid and well-designed clothing. It has a high collar, with softshell material used at the front and back, and a lighter material under the arms for better ventilation. The shoulder pockets are large – they can even fit a bigger phone. The cuffs are adjustable with Velcro, and at the end of the sleeves, there are thin extensions with a thumb hole that, if needed, can cover the whole hand right up to the fingers. The back of the forearms (from elbow to cuff) has an additional, almost rubberised reinforcement, which is a really interesting solution. Watch out for the fit! The sizing is accurate according to the description – these clothes are made for tall and solidly built men. At 178 cm tall and 77 kg, size S was good in length but too wide in the body. The sleeves are quite wide, designed for a serious bicep. It’s worth having something to fill out this sweatshirt. Despite these comments, I highly recommend it.
Manufactured by Condor, the lightweight Softshell jacket fastened with a short zip. The jacket is made of breathable and waterproof polyester. The material is stretchy, ensuring comfort and freedom of movement.
The softshell patrol jacket is lined on the inside with soft fleece with a grammage of 150 g/m2, which provides very good thermal properties. Elastic fleece side inserts promote airflow and improved ventilation.
The jacket is fastened with a 1/4 type zip, which has been finished with a chin guard. High collar protects against wind and limits excessive heat loss. Additional protection against the cold is provided by Velcro-fastened cuffs and thumb holes, which prevent the sleeves from rolling up during activity. The back section is slightly elongated to protect the lower back from the wind.
Two pockets with zips, located on the sleeves at shoulder height, allow you to carry useful accessories. Additionally, the jacket is equipped with reinforcements made of abrasion-resistant material on the forearms.
The shoulder pockets are equipped with Velcro panels for attaching any patches or emblems, such as a national flag, unit insignia or so-called Morale Patches, giving the jacket a personal touch.

A decent softshell, it effectively protects against wind and light rain. The pockets on the arms are practical, although I do miss the front pockets a bit, but for the way I use the jacket, it’s not a problem. I wear it under a vest, instead of a combat shirt – it works great. It protects well against the cold, and the thinner panels on the sides and under the arms help the material breathe. The exceptionally well-placed, sturdy reinforcements on the forearms protect the jacket from abrasions when working with weapons, whether using a vest or belt. I definitely recommend it for autumn trips to the shooting range, and in winter with thermal underwear, it also works well.
