An aesthetic knife made of great steel, easy to use and very versatile. The blade is made from 4116 Krupp stainless steel, treated with cryogenic processing (Cryo-Quenched), allowing for higher hardness and better impact resistance. The steel features high corrosion resistance and ease of sharpening. The blade has a flat grind, providing good cutting properties.
Handle with Zy-Ex and Kray-Ex

Kray-Ex
Kray-Ex is a synthetic polymer with a rubber-like structure used by Cold Steel to manufacture knife handles. It is characterized by high adhesion and anti-slip properties, ensuring a secure grip even in high humidity, low temperatures, and with dirty hands. The material is flexible and absorbs shocks well, which increases comfort of use. Kray-Ex is also resistant to cracking, abrasion, chemicals, and adverse weather conditions, making handles made of this material durable and virtually maintenance-free. 4116 Cryo Quenched
4116 Cryo Quenched is an improved version of 4116 stainless steel (DIN 1.4116), produced by ThyssenKrupp, subjected to additional cryogenic treatment, which improves its durability and mechanical properties. The carbon content (0.45-0.55%) ensures good hardness, while chromium (14-15%) provides corrosion resistance. The steel also contains molybdenum, vanadium, manganese, silicon, and nickel, which support its strength. The cryogenic process stabilizes the steel, increases wear resistance, and maintains sharpness for longer. After heat treatment, it reaches a hardness of 55-57 HRC, making it easy to maintain and resistant to corrosion. It is widely used in the production of kitchen knives and premium utility tools.
Zy-Ex
Zy-Ex is a composite material developed by Cold Steel, based on glass fiber reinforced polyamide. It is characterized by high mechanical strength, abrasion resistance, and low water absorption, allowing it to retain its properties even under intensive use in harsh conditions. The material is lightweight yet very rigid, allowing for the construction of a solid handle without excessively increasing the weight of the knife. The surface of Zy-Ex is designed to imitate the structure of natural wood, which gives it an attractive appearance and improves grip. Thanks to the combination of these features, Zy-Ex is used in tactical, outdoor, and EDC knives.

A good, inexpensive kitchen knife. It has a suitable size for smaller tasks in the kitchen. Made of durable material, it can be washed in the dishwasher without worry. I definitely recommend it.
