Insulated tactical boots with a high upper are modeled after the mountain boots used by the Bundeswehr. They were made of durable natural leather. Ergonomic design ensures a good fit and high comfort of use.
The shoe's interior and tongue are lined with Thinsulate 3M thermal insulation, which helps keep the foot warm while preventing excessive sweating. The anatomically contoured insole is removable.
The non-slip, treaded rubber sole provides very good grip and absorbs shock. The stiffened upper protects the ankle, minimizing the risk of ankle sprain.
The heel and toe cap have been additionally stiffened to protect the foot from impact. The shoes are equipped with sturdy nylon laces and a quick-fit system consisting of front lacing in the form of 8 metal grommets.
