The buckle proposed by Berghaus is, in my opinion, the best possible solution for a hip belt! It can be easily adjusted and tightened, and at the same time, it can be opened with one finger and does not loosen while walking. Even in the cold or mud it works flawlessly, as it has no spring parts that could break or get clogged. This is a world-class design!
