The Alpinus Carniche jacket in black is worth its price. When folded, it takes up very little space, exactly what I needed. Well made, waterproof, breathable. An extra advantage is the high collar. I recommend it, the delivery was very fast.
Alpinus Carniche jacket - Black
Lightweight black rain jacket made from damage-resistant polyester. Perfect for everyday city wear as well as dynamic outdoor activities.
polyester construction, ventilation openings
The durable polyester used in production effectively protects against rain and wind, while keeping the jacket lightweight. Ventilation openings under the arms enable efficient air circulation, supporting natural thermoregulation by effectively releasing excess heat.
Hydrotex membrane
The Carniche model features a Hydrotex membrane, offering water resistance of 10000 mm/m2 and breathability of 10000 g/m2/24h.
2 spacious pockets
The jacket includes two practical side pockets, secured with zippers.
main closure YKK, high collar, adjustable hood
The main closure is a zipper from the renowned YKK brand. A high collar protects the neck from cold wind. The integrated hood with adjustment provides protection for the head in bad weather. Adjustable cuffs prevent the sleeves from riding up, and a waist drawcord ensures a perfect fit to the user’s body.

A reflective Alpinus Safety print on the back increases safety during low-light conditions.

Alpinus is a Polish outdoor brand with a rich history, founded in 1990 by outstanding Himalayan climbers Artur Hajzer, Janusz Majer, and Ryszard Warecki. From the very beginning, its mission has been to create reliable clothing and equipment for people who actively spend time in nature. As one of the pioneering brands in Poland, Alpinus introduced clothing with Gore-Tex membranes to its range, setting new standards of quality. After a period of absence, the brand returned to the market, combining its mountaineering heritage with modern technologies and an ecological approach to production. Today, it is recognized by both professionals and outdoor enthusiasts.

I bought the jacket in a hurry because I needed it urgently. Although I didn't manage to get it on promotion, I don't regret the purchase. Great cut, nice and light, perfectly does the job.
-
Very good jacket protecting against rain and wind, while being breathable. It has many ventilation adjustment options, for example under the arms, which works great during more intense activity. The detachable zips do their job. I recommend it.

When buying the Alpinus jacket, I paid particular attention to breathability (10,000 g/m2/24h). Previously, I didn't pay attention to this and my old jacket didn't wick away moisture, so after a walk I was wet. Many renowned brands don't provide information about breathability at all, or it's lower, despite similar or higher prices. The jacket met my expectations and definitely improved comfort during walks in rain or drizzle. It is solidly made and well-finished. The underarm ventilation is a great solution and can be used as needed. All the features described by the manufacturer match reality.

It's hard to find a jacket like this on the market. It has ventilation openings under the arms. It's designed for people of average height, not just slim and tall. The jacket is lightweight, but you need to be careful not to damage the membrane with the zips when folding it. I recommend it.

I have the green version of this jacket, and this one was bought for my brother. The jacket is great, and my brother is also very satisfied. The only thing missing is a two-way zip and higher chest pockets. I definitely recommend it.

After half a year of use, I am very pleased with this jacket – excellent drawstrings at the bottom and in the hood. The underarm vents are also a big advantage. The material rustles a bit. If you have a bigger budget – I recommend GTX, but for this price it’s a good buy. It performs well in moderate rain; in very heavy and prolonged rain it lets water through.

Thermal insulation: The jacket retains heat well on cold days, so it is great for everyday use and in worse weather conditions. Waterproofness: The material effectively protects against rain and drizzle. Functionality: Practical pockets, adjustable cuffs and hood allow adaptation to various needs. Aesthetics: The black jacket is universal and looks stylish in any situation. Build quality: It is carefully made, giving a sense of durability and resistance to heavy use.

This is exactly the jacket I needed! It's worth paying 300-400 PLN for it. In other rain jackets I used to sweat a lot, but I don't have that problem here. It effectively protects against rain and wind, and it's breathable as the manufacturer claims. When I'm more active, I open the zips under the arms for better ventilation. Great product!

Excellent jacket, very solidly made. Ventilation is at a high level, and at the same time the jacket is very waterproof. At this price, it's hard to find anything better. I definitely recommend it.
-
The jacket is very well made. The colour looks nice in real life, a bit darker than in the photos. Unfortunately, the ordered size M turned out to be too small, so I am exchanging it for an L.

The jacket proved itself during a kayaking trip in heavy rain. It works like a true membrane, not a fake. It is light, durable and quite breathable.
-
This is a good jacket for rain and cold, especially when paired with a fleece. I recommend it.
-
A very nice jacket – thin, light, waterproof, ideal for trekking.
-
It takes up very little space and rustles a bit. A big plus for the drawstring in the hood – it's simply brilliant!
