Origin and Beginnings of the Brand

The history of Hultafors dates back to 1883, when Karl-Hilmer Johansson Kollén invented the first folding measuring stick. This innovative product revolutionized the way measurements were taken on construction sites and in workshops, becoming the foundation for the company's development. In 1907, the factory was moved to Hultafors, allowing for further development due to access to infrastructure and water power. It is from this town that the brand took its name.
