You can't say a bad word about this axe. When it arrived, its handle had quite a few splinters, and it was factory-oiled only once with linseed oil. Fortunately, some fine sandpaper solved the problem – I smoothed out the handle and then regularly applied oil every day for the first week, then once a week for a month, and later only occasionally. Overall, the axe is of excellent quality and is perfect for use in the forest.

As for the construction of this axe, I have no complaints – it was well made, but the handle was not properly protected; it looked as if the manufacturer had only wiped it once with a linen oil cloth. The handle had a few minor splinters, but a gentle sanding with sandpaper and then oiling made it smooth and resistant to moisture. The axe arrived well sharpened and overall, it is a very good product worth recommending.
