Hultafors Fire Steel

Durable and small ferrocerium flint with a long life span of several thousand uses. With the help of the flint you can light, for example, a gas stove, a tourist stove or a campfire, which is a source of heat and allows you to prepare a meal away from home. It will be perfect not only for camping, but also for emergency situations.

A ferrocerium firelighter works by vigorously rubbing the firelighter rod against the sharp edge of a spark plug. This causes the cerium in the rod to oxidize and ignite. One movement of the flint produces sparks with a temperature of 3000°C, which, when they hit the prepared firelighter, create a flame even in freezing temperatures or heavy rain.

The firelighter is perfect for any camping trip. Thanks to its small size, it fits in a pocket or backpack.
