Please don't misunderstand me – this axe truly impresses with its build quality, sharpness, ease of sharpening, and size. I believe it can handle many tasks (of course, if you have enough time). However, keep in mind that this is a high-end product, and to a large extent, you pay for the brand and aesthetics, which don't translate that much into practical use. For chopping wood, something heavier for a similar price will work better. In the forest, a good knife and saw will be more useful. From a practical point of view – I do not recommend it. But if you value design, tradition, and excellent craftsmanship, you can buy it blindly.
An axe for woodworking. The straight blade, grind and finger cutout in the head also allow for precision work such as planing. The Aby model was so named after the nearest village to Hults Bruk, where many workers worked in the mid-20th century.
The axe head is made of forged Swedish carbon steel processed using centuries-old traditional methods. The metal is hammered up to 60 times during forging, increasing its density and strength.
The long, thin and ergonomically shaped axe (handle) minimizes weight, while still providing adequate force on impact. The grip is made of hickory wood, which has been preserved with linseed oil.
A leather case is included to protect the blade.

This is a real, solid axe, hence its high price. It's not an ordinary knockoff that will break or dull after a few blows. I recommend this product.
