The hatchet is excellent – perfectly made and very sharp. Extremely comfortable to use. I wrapped the handle with paracord to make it more durable. Its size is perfect for small tasks, but it can also handle more serious work. I highly recommend it.

The smallest hatchet in the Swedish manufacturer's offer. Dedicated to outdoor and bushcraft enthusiasts for simple camp work. The short handle and lightweight head facilitate frequent carrying of this useful tool. The blade was derived with a convex grind, that is, the side surfaces of the wedge are slightly convex. This increases the strength of the cutting edge. The name Agelsjon comes from the lake from which water was once taken to operate the water wheel at the forge.
The axe head is made of forged Swedish carbon steel processed using centuries-old traditional methods. The metal is hammered up to 60 times during forging, increasing its density and strength.
The ergonomically shaped hatchet (handle) is made of hickory wood, which has been preserved with linseed oil. At the end is a hole for a rope or thong.
It comes with a leather case to protect the blade.

The product offers top quality – a solid small axe for many years, carefully made and based on a rich tradition. Its small size makes it perfect for a backpack. The new sheath is much better than the one from older versions. This is a hatchet that's definitely worth its price.

The small axe is fantastic! Although small, it has huge capabilities and was very sharp out of the box. Perfect for precise work, carving, and preparing small firewood. The mirror-finish edge holds sharpness for a long time. The leather sheath looks very elegant and is sturdy; it's worth further impregnating it to protect it from water, which is not good for the blade's steel. The case is equipped with a loop, so it can be attached to a belt. The axe requires some care because it is prone to rust, but with proper maintenance it rewards you with its quality. I recommend it!

I love this small axe – it's aesthetically crafted, handy, and extremely sharp. The blade stays sharp for a long time and sharpening it is incredibly easy. Since the purchase, it has become an essential tool together with my carving knife and spoon knife. It works great for roughing out wood for spoons, cups, and other items, and also for small tasks at the campfire like preparing sticks or pointing them for sausage. I definitely recommend it.
