Wiley X Vapor 2.5 Set 3in1 Tactical Glasses - Matte Tan
Protective glasses in Matte Tan with three interchangeable visors that provide high ballistic protection. They meet EN.166F, ANSI Z87.1, and MIL-PRF-32432A standards. The lenses are made of Selenite polycarbonate, known for its high durability and clarity.
Wiley X is one of the leading providers of eye protection products for the United States military, athletes, and people who actively spend time outdoors.
Selenite polycarbonate lenses with T-Shell and Anti-Fog coating
All visors are made from shatterproof Selenite polycarbonate and are additionally coated with a T-Shell layer to protect against scratches. The Anti-Fog coating prevents the lenses from fogging. The glasses provide protection against UVA and UVB radiation. People with vision impairments can use an RX insert (not included) with corrective lenses. The frames and lenses are made using HVP (High Velocity Protection) technology, protecting against injuries caused by fast-moving objects.
contoured temples, adjustable Twist Lock nose piece, and frames made from Triloid
The shape of the frames made from lightweight and durable Triloid material enables comfortable use with hearing protectors or night vision devices. The adjustable Twist Lock nose piece adapts to the shape of the nose, increasing stability and comfort even during prolonged use.
3 interchangeable visors
The glasses have interchangeable lenses in the following colours:
- Grey with 15% light transmission, recommended for intense sunlight.
- Light Rust (orange) with 52% light transmission for higher contrast vision.
- Clear (colourless) with 89% light transmission for indoor use and cloudy weather.
Each visor provides 100% protection against UVA and UVB radiation.
Standards and certificates
- MIL-PRF-32432A: frame and visors resistant to impacts from 3.8 mm diameter projectiles/fragments moving at a speed of 700 - 725 km/h.
- ANSI Z87.1 - tests verify the resistance of the visor and frame to impacts, including resistance to being hit by a heavy object (High Mass) and a high-velocity steel ball (High Velocity), confirming protection against typical mechanical hazards.
- EN.166F - European standard concerning protection against the impact of fast-moving particles (Medium Energy Impact). The frame and visors can withstand an impact from a 6 mm, 0.86 g steel ball moving at a speed of 162 km/h.

Anti-Fog coating prevents lens fogging, maintaining clear vision in humid conditions or during varying temperatures. Eyeglasses with this coating do not require frequent cleaning or defogging, making vision more comfortable.
Selenite visors are made of unbreakable polycarbonate, which provides high visual clarity and UV protection.
T-Shell is a coating on Wiley X glasses that resists scratches, protects lenses from damage and extends their life.
Frames made of Triloid nylon provide lightweight and highly comfortable glasses. Triloid features optimal hardness and is highly resistant to impacts and falls.
The Twist Lock nose pad flexibly adjusts to the shape of the wearer's nose. Thanks to its design, the glasses stay firmly in place, ensuring comfortable wearing for extended periods of time and preventing them from slipping.
Z87.1 standard developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the durability of eye protectors. The standard includes two types of tests (3 tests) for the impact resistance of the lens and the stability of its seating in the frame: resistance to High Mass and High Velocity objects.
EN166F is the European standard for protection against the impact of accelerated objects (Medium Energy Impact). Class F mechanical strength means that, according to the standard, the frame and visors of the glasses will withstand the impact of a steel BBs with a diameter of 6 mm and a weight of 0.86 g, traveling at 45 m/s (162 km/h).
