Wiley X Climb Glasses - Captivate Polarized Bronze Mirror/Gloss Tortoise
Comfortable safety glasses with precise fit. Lenses with high mechanical resistance protect the eyes from fragments, ricochets, and other incoming particles, meeting the requirements of Class F (resistant to impacts from objects weighing 0.86 g at a speed of 45 m/s).
HVP technology, frames made of Triloid material
The frames and lenses are designed using HVP (High Velocity Protection) technology, ensuring reliable eye protection against injuries caused by high-speed objects.
Triloid material, used for the frames, is highly durable. The shape allows comfortable use with headphones or earmuffs without compromising comfort. Rubberized, non-slip nose pads and temple tips keep the glasses securely in place.
Polarized lenses in Captivate technology
Selenite polycarbonate lenses provide 15% light transmission, making them ideal for bright sunlight and outdoor use. The T-Shell coating protects the surface against scratches.
Captivate technology balances the visible light spectrum for more natural perception while enhancing greens. It reduces glare, increases contrast and color saturation outdoors, and shields against UVA, UVB, and high-energy visible (HEV) blue light.
The Oleophobic coating on the lenses repels dust, oil, water, snow, and dirt, making them easier to clean.
Protective standards
- ANSI Z87.1+ (High Mass Protection) - according to this standard, the frame and lenses must withstand the impact of an object weighing 0.5 kg falling from about 130 centimeters.
- ANSI Z87.1+ (High Velocity Protection) - according to this standard, the frame and visor will withstand the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 6.35 mm, moving at a speed of 164.6 km/h (45 m/s).
- EN.166F Standard - meets the European standard for protection against the impact of speeding particles (Medium Energy Impact), according to the standard, the frame and visors will withstand the impact of a steel ball with a diameter of 6 mm and weight of 0.86 g, moving at a speed of 162 km/h.

Selenite visors are made of unbreakable polycarbonate, which provides high visual clarity and UV protection.
Frames made of Triloid nylon provide lightweight and highly comfortable glasses. Triloid features optimal hardness and is highly resistant to impacts and falls.
Captivate lens technology is an advanced filter system used in sunglasses that aims to improve the quality of vision by filtering out harmful light and improving color perception and contrast.
Z87.1 standard developed by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI) for the durability of eye protectors. The standard includes two types of tests (3 tests) for the impact resistance of the lens and the stability of its seating in the frame: resistance to High Mass and High Velocity objects.
EN166F is the European standard for protection against the impact of accelerated objects (Medium Energy Impact). Class F mechanical strength means that, according to the standard, the frame and visors of the glasses will withstand the impact of a steel BBs with a diameter of 6 mm and a weight of 0.86 g, traveling at 45 m/s (162 km/h).
According to this standard, the frame and visor of the glasses can withstand the impact of a 6.35 mm diameter steel BBs traveling at 45 m/s (164.6 km/h).
