Victorinox SwissTool Spirit X Plus Ratchet Multitool - leather pouch

I've had this multitool for over 15 years now and it's the most trustworthy tool I've ever owned. I often reach for the 'Vic', even though I have a well-equipped toolbox. After all these years, the only wear is a tiny bit of play in the pliers, which I consider an excellent result, given how intensively I've used them – the play is so slight that most people would probably think it's a factory feature. I can afford this kind of gear and the only downside is that sometimes I simply feel like getting something new, but I have no logical reason for it. Recently, for comparison, I bought a cheap Chinese Daicamping after seeing positive reviews, but the quality, precision and aesthetics are incomparable – it's like comparing old wooden cogwheels with the mechanism of a Swiss watch.

In my opinion, this is a very underrated multitool. It’s made exceptionally well, and the selection of tools is extensive and carefully thought out. It’s particularly worth checking out the version with the ratchet and bits. For this price, it's a great alternative to, for instance, the Leatherman Arc – I have both, so I know what I’m talking about!

The ratchet is a real hit, and the four extra slots for bits can be used however you wish. The Spirit has well-designed, sturdy tools – the whole thing is solid and gives a sense of premium quality. The price at Militaria.pl is very attractive. In my opinion, it's a strong competitor to the Leatherman Arc.
