UF PRO P-40 Gen.2 Tactical Shorts - Woodland

Woodland camouflage shorts made of a durable NyCo Extreme fabric, which is a blend of 57% nylon and 43% cotton. The whole is reinforced with a Rip-Stop weave, and additional elastic inserts made of Schoeller-Dynamic material increase wearing comfort. The modern technologies used in the design combine durability and maximum freedom of movement, making it perfect for a variety of activities.

The front part of the shorts and the sides of the legs are made of damage-resistant NyCo Extreme material. The rip-stop weave reinforcement effectively prevents the fabric from tearing and fraying, even in the event of local damage. The back of the shorts and the side panels are made of flexible Schoeller-Dynamic fabric, which adapts very well to the body, improving comfort of use.

A breathable three-dimensional insert is placed in the lower back, which perfectly adapts to the natural curvature of the lumbar region. The shorts are equipped with the Waist/Flex system, consisting of stretchable side panels. Their design guarantees an optimal fit regardless of the position – when moving, sitting or kneeling.

The integrated support strap ensures that the shorts remain in position, eliminating the risk of them slipping during dynamic movement. The belt is attached to a durable belt buckle made of PolyCo material, which further increases stabilisation and ensures a precise fit.

The shorts have 10 pockets:

• 2 slanted front pockets
• 2 cargo pockets with zips
• 2 back pockets
• 1 pocket with a zip for cards or small items
• 3 open pockets on top of the cargo pockets

The fly is closed with a Canadian button and a zip. The model has reinforced belt loops made of Cordura. In the front part on the thighs, there are ventilation holes with zips to regulate the airflow. The inner layer made of breathable mesh material prevents insects and small particles from entering.

Woodland, also known as U.S. Woodland or M81, is a classic camouflage pattern introduced to the US Armed Forces in the early 1980s, based on the earlier ERDL camouflage. For over two decades, it remained the standard pattern used by the US military until the end of the first decade of the 21st century. It is characterized by large, irregular patches in shades of green, brown, beige, and black, which provide good camouflage and deformation properties, especially in wooded areas. Thanks to its effectiveness and global recognition, it has spawned numerous variations that have found their way into over 60 uniform formations around the world. The pattern has also had a huge impact on popular culture, shifting from military applications to everyday fashion.
