This is already my second purchase of this scarf and I’m satisfied again – it arrived in perfect condition, with no damage. I should mention its versatility and the fact that it hardly takes up any space in the backpack.

Texar Shemagh - Desert
The shemagh-style model in Desert is made of woven cotton, which promotes good ventilation and ensures comfortable use even over extended periods. It works well in summer as sun protection, and when folded, it can serve as an additional layer in cooler conditions. Fringes along the edges reduce the risk of fraying.
Also known as a keffiyeh or shemagh, the arafat scarf is a traditional Arab scarf – a square piece of fabric, usually cotton, that can be folded and wrapped around the head in various ways.
Application possibilities
The scarf is useful in many situations – for protecting the head and shoulders from intense sun, as face coverage in harsh weather conditions, and as an insulating layer against the cold. Thanks to its lightweight construction and large size, it easily adapts to different uses.

For me, super. It arrived in perfect condition, undamaged, and the camo colour matches the photos. I have no worries about it tearing when putting it on. As mentioned in other reviews, it is recommended to hand wash it the first time, as it may stain.

The material of this shemagh is surprisingly pleasant to the touch. It's also quite large. Nice colour and pattern. At this price, it's well worth buying without hesitation.
-
I never had any doubts that Texar rivals foreign brands. The shemagh is of great quality, versatile and available in several colours.
-
Great value for money is a definite advantage of this shemagh. The material is nice to the touch and even after several hand washes there are no signs of damage, although I don't use it very often. It can be used in many ways and in different colours. Suitable as a scarf, cap, balaclava, sling or for filtering water from mechanical impurities. It is one of the most versatile pieces of equipment. When folded, it takes up as much space as a regular t-shirt.

The shemagh is well made, I've been using it for several years and it still works perfectly. The material is durable and does not fray. Well worth buying at this price.
-
The shemagh is very well made, though not perfect. So far everything works flawlessly and it gives a strong impression. Huge range of applications – I can't imagine my EDC without it. I recommend it.
-
Excellent combination of price and quality. I used it many times in the field. Protected from the sun and light rain. I've worn it in various ways and it's always pleasant to the touch. Rolled up under my head, it worked well as a pillow. Sometimes I lay out equipment on it in the field to avoid losing small parts. It's become a permanent element of my gear.

The keffiyeh is pleasant to the touch, the colour is fine. The only downside is a loose seam, making the material seem delicate, but with reasonable use the product does the job.
-
Very good quality for a reasonable price. I used it during hikes, in various weather conditions and at camps. Large, soft, versatile. Really a useful piece of equipment.
-
Its biggest advantage is undoubtedly the attractive price. For this amount, the workmanship is really decent. Thin material, large scarf and extremely versatile. It can be used as a face cover, headgear or even a makeshift sling. Folded, it takes up less space than a T-shirt.

Great shemagh – it keeps you warm in winter and protects well in summer. Very nice pattern, colour matches the picture. Does not fray, does not stain or soil your skin or clothes. I definitely prefer it to a classic scarf for winter.
-
The pattern, colour and the scarf itself are perfectly fine. After over two years of use, the tassels have started losing threads, but I don't consider this a serious flaw. For the price, it's hard to find something better. I recommend it.
-
The scarf is very versatile, and the colour is practically the same as in the photo. Before the first wash, be careful as the material releases dye – it's best to hand wash it.
-
Very comfortable, easy to arrange. It's not thick, so you can use it even on hot days. The material is strong and does not wear out under a backpack.
