Texar BDU Rip-Stop Shorts - UCP

Tactical shorts in UCP camouflage, the summer version of BDU (Battle Dress Uniform) trousers. Thanks to numerous pockets and their thoughtful placement, the shorts perform well in urban environments and outdoor activities. A compromise between military and civilian style

The shorts are made from a material blend of polyester (65%) and cotton (35%), characterised by high resistance to abrasions and tears, with reduced weight and faster drying than 100% cotton material. The construction is reinforced with a Rip-Stop weave for increased fabric durability. The trousers' fit and additional reinforcements in the seat and crotch areas ensure long-lasting use

The model features 6 practical pockets:

• 2 traditional hip pockets
• 2 rear pockets with button closure
• 2 spacious cargo pockets with button fastening

Button fly. The fit to the silhouette is facilitated by drawstrings with a buckle at the waist. Wide belt loops at the lower part have additional loops that allow attachment of, for example, a carabiner or other equipment

UCP (Universal Camouflage Pattern) is a digital camouflage pattern introduced in the early 21st century to replace US Woodland and Desert. This pattern integrates with various environments: forest, desert, and urban - hence it includes shades of green, beige, and grey. The spot layout is based on the MARPAT pattern, and its pastel, low-contrast nature creates a pixelated micro-pattern that effectively camouflages at close range, while from a distance it appears as a solid silhouette. UCP demonstrated good efficiency in infrared, contributing to its use, but was ultimately replaced by the OCP camouflage based on the MultiCam pattern.
