Savotta Tourniquet Pouch - Green

Pouch in green colour designed for carrying SOF, CAT Gen 7, SAM-XT type tourniquets or other items of similar size. It is ideal as a medical equipment element, ensuring quick access to a tactical tourniquet in situations that require immediate intervention.

Durable material

The pouch is made from high-abrasion and tear-resistant polyester, which can withstand intensive use in the field. The fabric is characterised by high durability with relatively low weight, which is crucial in tactical accoutrement. This material performs well in difficult weather conditions and in contact with moisture, enhancing its usability in combat and outdoor applications. The material used meets NIR (Near Infrared) requirements, reducing its visibility in the infrared spectrum.

Elastic loops, compatible with PALS system

The pouch is closed with a snap, additionally secured by a Velcro strap. Two stretchy loops stabilise the tourniquet inside, preventing it from shifting and accidentally falling out. On the sides, there are elastic bands for attaching, for example, a marker to mark the time of application of the tourniquet.

It can be mounted both directly on a belt (up to 50 mm) as well as in the PALS system on tactical vests, backpacks, or chest rigs.

Main features

  • medical pouch for transporting tactical tourniquet
  • equipped with holders for scissors and pen
  • Velcro fastening
  • compatibility with PALS

MILITARY is a premium dealer of Savotta.

Savotta is a Finnish family business from Karstula that has been designing and manufacturing backpacks, bags, tents and field equipment for the military, rescue services and people who value heading out into the wild since 1955. The brand's gear has been supplied to the Finnish Defence Forces without interruption since the 1960s, meeting the strict standards demanded of military equipment. Savotta builds its products with durability in mind, which is why it reaches for top-tier materials such as Cordura, with almost all of its raw materials (97%) coming from suppliers within the European Union. The brand also stands out for its own proprietary solutions: the Rapid Adjustment Slider quick-adjustment system, frames made of polyethylene plates, and laser-cut PALS/MOLLE attachments. Every design is created in Finland, and the entire manufacturing process remains within the borders of the European Union. As interest has grown, the brand has expanded production - since 2025 its products have been made in three countries: Finland, Estonia and Poland. Regardless of where a given item was made, it undergoes final quality control at the Finnish headquarters in Karstula.

PALS system feature
PALS system

PALS (Pouch Attachment Ladder System) is a modular mounting system for pockets and pouches, used in the MOLLE system. It consists of horizontally sewn rows of 1 inch (25.4 mm) wide, fixed spacing webbing (such as on a backpack) and vertical webbing for attachment and threading (on a pocket). This system is usually equipped with snaps, which further secures the pinned items.

NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) feature
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance)
NIR (Near Infrared Reflectance) is a material property of controlled reflection of radiation in the near-infrared (780-2500 nm) range, used primarily in tactical clothing and equipment. NIR-treated fabrics are designed to reduce the thermal emission and reflection of IR radiation, allowing the material's surface temperature to be kept close to ambient. This reduces the risk of detection of the wearer by electronic-optical surveillance systems, including night vision and infrared sensors. NIR technology significantly improves the effectiveness of camouflage in combat and low-light conditions.
