Opticon StarQuest Telescope

Lightweight and easy to use table-top mirror telescope. Recommended especially for beginners in sky observation. Equipped with a main mirror with a diameter of 76 mm and a focal length of 300 mm. High-quality lenses guarantee bright, clear and high-contrast images of stars, planets and the Moon.

The StarQuest model has 2 interchangeable eyepieces and a Barlow lens, so the maximum theoretical magnification is as high as 150 x. The telescope is compatible with professional accessories in the 1.25" standard, which allows to gradually expand the set with additional elements. The stability and strength of the structure is taken care of by the Dobson mount.

The contrast filter offered with the telescope enhances the image quality during a full moon and makes it possible to see such details as mountains, seas and craters on the surface of the Silver Globe.

Included with the telescope are sky maps, computer programs, hands-on tutorials, a documentary film on DVD and a richly illustrated book, "Trail of the Stars," written for beginning space enthusiasts.
