Halo ballistic goggles with Matte Black frame and tinted Grey visor. They are characterized by the ability to quickly replace the visor, high comfort of use, low weight and low-profile design. The product meets or exceeds the requirements of ANSI Z87.1-2003/2010 and MIL PRF-32432.
The lenses are made with Oakley High Definition Optics (HDO) technology from high-quality Plutonite polycarbonate, so they feature high optical quality. They provide full protection against harmful UVA and UVB ultraviolet rays and blue rays up to 400 nm. They are coated with Anti-fog coating to prevent fogging. The tinted Grey visor with visible light transmission of 17% is designed for use in medium to bright light conditions. The viewfinder's neutral contrast works best on sunny days.
The goggles are equipped with a flexible and durable frame and an adjustable mounting strap with non-slip inserts. Also worth mentioning is the moisture-absorbing foam, which provides comfort where the goggles meet the face. Comfort is enhanced by a nose pad made of well-fitting Unobtainium® material. The goggles can be used with a wide range of helmets and helmets, including MICH, ACH, CVC, PASGT, Ops-Core, Team Wendy, Crye and similar. The product also features full compatibility with night vision devices and oxygen masks designed for skydiving.
The goggles are part of what is known as the Oakley Alpha ecosystem, in which one visor can be used in three different configurations:
