Mechanix gloves are very good – they provide excellent grip and great adhesion. The fastening is comfortable and effectively prevents the gloves from slipping off, even with a stronger grip. Unfortunately, their drawback is the rapid wear of the rubber layer responsible for grip. I used them for obstacle course runs and unfortunately, when gripping with one hand, the rubber wears out quickly. However, for regular work, the durability should be sufficient.
Mechanix Wear Specialty Grip Tactical Gloves Black
Black gloves made of breathable TrekDry fabric, ensuring comfort and functionality in demanding conditions. The inner side of the hand and the spaces between the fingers are made of Armortex Grip fabric, whose special texture guarantees a secure grip and effectively prevents soaking when in contact with water, oil, or other liquids.
Wide-Fit fastening, TPR cover, nylon grip
The model is equipped with a Wide-Fit fastening with a thermoplastic rubber (TPR) cover, which allows for a comfortable fit of the gloves on the wrist. Anatomical stitching adapts the gloves to the natural shape of the hand, ensuring comfort of use. A nylon handle allows for easy hanging of the gloves during breaks at work.
EN388-1121X protection standard
The gloves meet the protective standard EN388-1121X in terms of resistance to mechanical hazards, which means:
- 1: abrasion resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- 1: cut resistance (on a scale of 0–5)
- 2: tear resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- 1: puncture resistance (on a scale of 0–4)
- X: cut resistance – TDM test (ISO 13997) (on a scale of A–F)
The scales specified in the EN388 standard define the level of glove protection: a value of 0 indicates no protection, while the highest values (4, 5) indicate the maximum level of resistance.
In the TDM (ISO 13997) test method, letter markings are used, where A indicates the lowest level of protection and F the highest.
The X marking indicates that a given parameter was not tested or is not applicable.

Fantastic gloves, I bought them with cycling (enduro/DH) in mind and they perform excellently in this role :D
-
I really like these gloves, that's why I already have my third pair. I use them during driven hunts, they are great for dynamic shooting, the trigger is easy to feel and the grip is secure. There is, however, a downside – the first pair lasted until the rubber was completely worn out, about two years. The next two: in one, after a few days, it burst at the bend near the index finger and thumb, the complaint was handled positively and I got a new pair, but they also tore at the same place, although only after a year of use.
-
The gloves are comfortable and have good grip. Overall, I recommend them.
-
The gloves are very comfortable, and during cold days they hold warmth well. The only note: the grip is not waterproof and easily absorbs water. Nevertheless, I recommend them.
-
In my opinion, all Mechanix gloves are fantastic. In this model, the fastening is interesting – I was worried it would be uncomfortable, but that was just an illusion. They're very durable and extremely comfortable. You can really feel the work you're doing in them. I recommend them!
-
Precisely made. They are thin enough to be very comfortable in use. The inner layer significantly increases grip. I recommend them.
-
The gloves are really great! They perform their functions well and importantly – they are breathable, so they'll work even during heatwaves.
-
Great model of gloves, they provide excellent feel even for precise tasks. The rubberised underside gives a secure grip on tools. The velcro on the outside of the hand doesn't restrict movement. I recommend them.
-
I recommend them for tasks that require more precision. The gloves provide good finger control, and the short cuffs don't restrict wrist movement.
-
Everything is fine.

The GRIP texture (rubber bumps) provides a very good hold. This has its advantages, but during heavier work or when lifting weights they sometimes get stuck, which can result in the layer coming off. Fortunately, there's another layer underneath, similar to the one in FastFits. The fastening is interesting, at first I thought it would be uncomfortable, but it even offers extra protection to the back of the hand. Generally, I recommend them, although the grip isn't very durable. It all depends on what tasks they are to be used for.
-
They are very light, comfortable and solid.
-
Comfortable and solid gloves, I haven't tested them in tough conditions yet, but the inner texture looks sturdy.
-
They are light, comfortable and pleasant to use. I recommend them.
