A handy, collapsible flint ferrocerium with a steel sparkler, giving a large sheaf of sparks. With its help you can light, for example, a gas stove, a tourist stove or a campfire, which is a source of heat and allows you to prepare a meal away from home. It will prove useful in blackout emergency situations and during camping or hiking.
The flint ferrocerium works by vigorously abrading the flint rod with the sharp edge of the sparkler. By doing so, the cerium contained in the rod oxidizes and spontaneously ignites. One movement with the sparkler allows sparks to be produced at a temperature of 3000 st. C, which falling on a previously prepared fire starter will produce a flame even in severe frost or heavy rain. The rod of the flint is sufficient for 12,000 kindling.
At the same time as the flint, the set includes a sparking rod in the form of a metal plate. Thanks to its small size, the whole thing, when folded, will fit into a trousers pocket, a kidney or a backpack.

The fire starter is compact and comfortable to use. It does the job one hundred percent. An additional plus is the foldable option and the interesting colour scheme. I added it to my travel first aid kit as emergency equipment.
