After the first use on a rocky beach, the soles were worn out and most of the seams ripped – they won’t last a second time. These shoes are only suitable for kayaking or calm beaches with fine pebbles.
Hi-Tec Reda Water Shoes - Navy
Lightweight protective shoes in black, perfect for both swimming and walking along the coast. Made of neoprene, they have a flexible rubber sole. Ideal for water activities – they effectively protect your feet from cuts and injuries.
Durable neoprene, thermal properties
The shoes are made of durable neoprene, resistant to contact with both fresh and salt water. In addition, they have good thermal insulation properties, ensuring comfort when walking on hot sand and in cool water.
Non-slip rubber sole, pull tab with stopper
The rubber sole with a non-slip tread minimises the risk of slipping on wet surfaces. Drainage holes in the sole effectively remove water, which speeds up drying. A built-in inner mesh ensures air circulation. A pull tab with a stopper is located on the heel for a precise fit.

The Sierra Sneaker model proved to be a breakthrough - recognized as the first sports trekking footwear - which set the direction in the hybrid outdoor and urban footwear segment. In 1981, Hi-Tec gained widespread recognition in the UK with the Silver Shadow model, worn by 23% of London Marathon participants. The brand introduced groundbreaking technologies such as the AirBall Concept cushioning system and ultra-lightweight V-LITE solutions, combining comfort with durability. One of the symbolic moments in the company's history was 1990, when Nelson Mandela left prison wearing Hi-Tec ACE shoes. The shoes worked well on rocky beaches and when coming into contact with sharp edges. They protect your feet well and don’t restrict movement; you can swim freely in them. I recommend them to everyone who prefers pebble beaches instead of sandy ones.

The shoes are quite good, fit well to the foot and don’t slip in the water. Unfortunately, the material is not very durable – after one season the sole was worn down and the material around the toes tore.

The sole with studs provides excellent stability even on a wet wooden pier. The shoes protect your feet well when entering the water and dry quickly. I definitely recommend them.
