Thanks to its thoughtful design, the backpack provides quick and convenient access to stored equipment. It is perfectly suited for tactical tasks, hiking trips, and as part of everyday EDC gear.
The backpack is equipped with a total of 7 ingenious pockets, allowing easy carrying and organisation of gear:
- front, roll-up beavertail pocket, allowing for the carrying of a helmet
- upper pocket lined with velour for storing glasses
- upper pocket with organiser for small accessories
- two elastic side pockets for a bottle or thermos cup
- internal mesh pocket in the main compartment
- pocket for a hydration bladder in the main compartment
- flat pocket at the base of the backpack for the integrated rain cover
The spacious main compartment and additional pockets are closed with YKK zippers, ensuring reliability and smooth operation.
The backpack is equipped with adjustable shoulder straps, chest and hip belts, allowing it to be tailored to the individual physique. The inner side of the straps and back is covered with soft and breathable spacer mesh, improving air circulation. There are also D-ring holders on the straps. The straps can be detached using Fastex buckles. The adjustable hip belt can be completely hidden in the side pockets.
In the main compartment, there is a Velcro panel with a soft hook and loop for attaching inserts compatible with Versatile Insert System accessories, such as additional pockets or pouches. This allows the backpack to be customised to individual needs. On the front, there is a Velcro panel for attaching any emblems, such as a flag, badge, or so-called Morale Patches.
The front and sides of the backpack are equipped with MOLLE/PALS mounting straps, enabling the attachment of additional pockets or accessories as needed.
At the bottom of the backpack, there is a special pocket closed with a zipper, containing an integrated rain cover. It protects the backpack and its contents from getting wet during rain or snow.
PenCott is an advanced second-generation system of modern digital camouflage patterns developed by the British company Hyde Definition. Its distinctive feature is a multi-layered pattern structure that includes micro, meso, and macro elements.
PenCott BadLands is a camouflage variant designed for use in dry, semi-open areas such as steppes, scrublands, grassy terrain, and hilly transitional zones. It was developed with environments dominated by faded vegetation, dry soil, and variable lighting in mind. The pattern shares the same structure as other PenCott camouflages—combining realistic color noise, a dense micropattern, and contrasting elements that distort the silhouette. The BadLands color palette includes shades of beige, olive, brown, and light green, creating a pattern that blends naturally into transitional and dry landscapes.
